Summary
We are seeking a skilled individual to use software to convert designs into technical drawings and plans. The role involves preparing precise technical drawings for use in construction projects.

Essential Functions

Design plans using computer-aided design and drafting (CADD) software.
Develop technical drawings from rough sketches and specifications created by engineers and architects.
Collaborate in designing products using engineering and manufacturing techniques.
Enhance architectural plans by incorporating knowledge of building techniques.
Prepare multiple versions of designs for review by engineers and architects.
Specify dimensions, materials, and procedures for new products.
Work under the supervision of Senior Leadership.

Education, Qualities & Skills Required

Minimum 2-year degree with at least 5 years of HVAC/Plumbing estimation experience.
Proficiency in AutoCAD® and MS Office products.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Previous experience as a drafter is essential.
