Summary
The Drafter will work alongside President and Project Managers to help Prepare Clear and Concise Shop Drawings for The Field Installers. The Drafter will participate in Weekly Coordination Meetings with Project Managers, Clients, and other Trades for Proper Coordination. The Drafter will be Responsible for Preparing Technical Drawings with Dimensions to be used on Construction Sites.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
The days and hours of work are Monday through Friday: 7:00 am – 5:00 pm.

The Drafter will participate in Weekly Coordination Meetings with Project Managers, Clients, and other Trades for Proper Coordination. The Drafter will be Responsible for Preparing Technical Drawings with Dimensions to be used on Construction Sites.
Essential Functions
- Prepare Shop Drawings using Computer Aided Design (CADD) Software to Produce Detailed 2D/3D Drawings, Floor Plans, Elevations, and Cross-Sections.
- Work from Rough Sketches or Specifications Created by Engineers and Architects to understand Project Requirements.
- Add Detail to Architectural and Mechanical Plans for Proper Installation.
- Specify Dimensions, Materials, and Procedures for New Products.
- Ensure all Drawings meet Industry Standards, Building Codes, and Project-Specific Guidelines.
- Work Closely with President and Project Managers for Accurate Drawings.
- Other Duties as Assigned.
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Drafting, Architecture, Engineering or a related field.
- 3-5 years of Demonstrable Experience as a Drafter.
- Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar) and the Ability to Produce High-Quality Drawings.
- Strong Attention to Detail and Precision in Drafting, Ensuring that all Dimensions and Specifications are Accurate.
- Familiarity with Construction and Manufacturing Processes with an Understanding of design Standards.
- Effective Communication and Collaboration Skills.
- Strong Problem-Solving Skills and the Ability to Find Practical Solutions to Design Challenges.
- Additional Certification from the American Design Drafting Association (ADDA) is a Plus.
